Miami Music Week Party Schedule 2020

It was only yesterday that the decision to postpone the 2020 edition of Ultra Music Festival was made by Miami’s elected leaders and Ultra representatives. Before the meeting on Wednesday, Mayor Francis Suarez and Commissioner Joe Carollo wanted to postpone the 3 day event due to concerns over the spread of the coronavirus or COVID-19. This comes one day after Ultra announced the cancellation of the first edition of Ultra Abu Dhabi.

Ultra has yet to comment on their social media platforms as they are ironing out possible legal issues that may be tied into the decision. The plan to postpone until 2021 will effectively cancel the 2020 edition. This will be the first time in the festival’s 21 year history that Ultra will not have a large scale event in the greater Miami area.

Miami Music Week is our favorite time of the year and if you are a house music enthusiast, it’s your favorite time of the year too. For a week in March, Miami is filled to the brim with day and night parties ranging from house, techno, trance, and everything in between. It’s the beginning of festival season and the time where artists test new material for the first time. As of today’s date of publication, no adjustments have been made and these events are still happening.
