HQ Nightclub and Beachclub Making It’s Return To Atlantic City At Ocean Resort Casino

Between 2012 and 2014 a lot of people in the NY/NJ/Philly areas couldn’t imagine a summer weekend without heading to HQ Beachclub and sometimes staying overnight for the nightclub as well.  HQ Beachclub was the first daytime Vegas style mega-club on the East Coast, and extremely popular amongst DJs and patrons alike.  The place was slammed every Saturday and Sunday with the likes of Armin Van Buuren, Tiesto, W&W, Afrojack, Chuckie, Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano, Kaskade, Steve Aoki, Martin Garrix, and so many more.

Unfortunately the hotel that HQ was housed in, Revel, went bankrupt and closed in September of 2014 bringing a thriving HQ down with it.  Atlantic City hasn’t been the same since.  While there are other clubs in AC, none of them held a candle to HQ as far as a general structure for booking talent and overall vibe.  HQ was like a big Cheers atmosphere.  The staff was friendly, the crowd were all familiar, and even the big table clients were well known throughout the community.  While there have been rumors, hopes, and whispers of HQ re-opening since the day it closed, nothing has come of it…. until now.

This January the space that housed Revel was sold, and the new Ocean Resort Casino announced massive plans for renovation and to open this month.  The second that was announced, it seemed like everyone and their mother’s were asking if the legendary HQ would be reopening.  Finally about a month ago, we all rejoiced in hearing that HQ2 will be open for business on June 28th.

This is precisely what Atlantic City needs to rejuvenate it’s broken down appearance and breathe new life into the area.  We couldn’t be more excited to check out the new Ocean Resort Casino and share the Grand Opening lineup for HQ2 with you.
