REVIEW: Sander van Doorn at Schimanski NYC

Let’s just start off with the fact that Sander van Doorn aka Purple Haze has been a big hit in the New York Nightlife scene.

After his set at Marquee New York everybody was talking about Purple Haze, because he played one of the best sets Marquee saw that year. It was the perfect mix between his old progressive tracks and his new Purple Haze alias. The entire crowd that went to see Sander at Marquee came out to Schimanski in Brooklyn to do it all over again. The party was ten times better because now everybody was prepared for what was going to happen. He started off with some Progressive House and slowly went into the Purple Haze vibe. Very very impressive.

Sander knew exactly how to play with the crowd, which never stopped dancing. From groups of VivaLaTrance-tshirt-wearing people in VIP to the dancers in GA; everybody was having the time of their lives.

Sander closed his set with his semi-acoustic track “Light Me Up”
