We had the opportunity to join the Beats & Booze crew during their radio interview with Australian super producer/ DJ, Flume. Known for his melodic, synth heavy records infused with downtempo future house undertones paired with captivating vocalists and unique vocal arrangements, and a suave ‘stashe – Flume has gained massive support from respected Australian radio show Triple J which was a key factor in skyrocketing his popularity in the U.S.
His first EP titled Sleepless grabbed the attention of the founder of coveted label Future Classic and shortly after in 2013, his self titled album went 2x Platinum at ARIA [The Australian Recording Industry Association Music Awards] and the same award was granted for “Holdin On”. That same year he won Breakthrough Artist, Best Male Artist, and Best Dance Release at ARIA as well as Producer Of The Year. Flume was released in North America via New York based, indi label Mom + Pop and has flourished in the U.S. ever since.
