and his breakthrough show at Ultra Music Festival 2016, KANDY is climbing to the top of the electronic music industry quickly. The DJ and Producer has been releasing hit after hit with tracks such as his collab with Funky Craig featuring Example titled “Weapons,” “Jungle Freaks,” “Doubetter” with Titus, “Initiator” with Mina, and “Vogue”- to name a few. KANDY recently released his EP “Flavors” under Mixmash Records’ One To Watch and it has already skyrocketed to number six on Beatport’s Top 100 New Releases. The New York based producer has gained a lot of support from top producers after three years of dedicating his life to music. He’s garnered support from artists such as DJ Snake, Skrillex, Wiwek, Pegboard Nerds, Bassnectar, DJ Craze, Laidback Luke (who is a mentor figure), Knife Party, Hardwell, Tiesto, Diplo and more.
“It’s pretty crazy, we just found this record and I like it a lot so, I’m going to play it!” said Skrillex during and interview with OWSLA Radio on Beats.
Now, KANDY has dropped his latest
single, “Non Stop,” featuring The Ragga Twins, with Thrive Music today on April 29th. The dubstep track features traditional sounds and a chill Reggae vibe with The Ragga Twins’ melodic vocals.
“I wanted to try something outside of my comfort zone, something unique but reflects for my fans, I think ‘Non Stop’ is that track,” said KANDY.
The Ragga Twins, featuring MCs Deman Rockers and Flinty Badman (real names David and Trevor Destouche), are a jungle group from Hackney, England. They’re known for their hits such as “Burn It Down,” “Weed,” “Bad Man (Skrillex Remix),” “Deadly Zone” featuring Spyda and more. Listen to “Non Stop” here:
