If you already have Thanksgiving Eve plans, change them, and if you don’t have plans, now you do! Wednesday, November 25 marks the debut for some of the best DJs in the game at Verboten — The Martinez Brothers, wAFF, Filsonik, and Jesse Calosso.
If this lineup doesn’t rip at your heart strings, than you don’t really know good music, do you? Maybe that’s bias, but we couldn’t think of any better way to see these four massive names under one roof.
The Bronx’s own, The Martinez Brothers, are finally recovering from what seemed to be a massive season in Ibiza. This young duo have been taking the scene by storm and don’t show any signs of stopping. After their stellar performance at Electric Zoo, followed by an after-party at Output and another stop at Space Ibiza NYC on Halloween, it’s safe to say NYC can’t get enough of these bad boys.
If their personal sounds aren’t enough for you, have you checked out their label yet? Cuttin’ Headz is truly establishing a brand for these boys. It seems as if Verboten was made for TMB – Brooklyn has been dying to get them into the Williamsburg club and watch them at work.
Next on the lineup is wAFF — it’s also his New York debut, so there’s no doubt he’s pulling out all sorts of cards to make it a memorable Thanksgiving Eve. Don’t let his luscious locks fool you — he means BUSINESS. Working alongside some of the greatest in the game, like Jamie Jones, he’s established a name for himself that New Yorkers have been dying to see.
It’s safe to say some are braving the craziest party
day of the year just to see him — we don’t blame them. EDMYC is hoping that once he makes his all-star Verboten debut, he’ll be back for more and more!
Last, but definitely not least is a very special back to back set from Filsonik and Jesse Calosso. Both have worked very closely alongside The Martinez Brothers and it shows in their immeasurable sound. If you don’t know who they are, you better educate yourself now… or you’ll just have to learn for yourself on TGE. What better way to ring in a holiday than with two more New York boys to make us feel right at home?
A stacked lineup like this doesn’t come around just any day and is not to be missed. Plus, a portion of the money made that night will be donated to the House Of Rob foundation. Ring in another great holiday with some home-town heroes and a little twist. See you on the dance floor, Brooklyn.
