The news every trance fanatic has been waiting for is finally here! #SubcultureWeekender
On Apr 25th 2015, John O’Callaghan and Esscala present #SubcultureNYC 2015 at the Best Buy Theater!
Tickets on sale Jan 21st! Lineup details coming soon!
The last time we saw John O’Callaghan play at Best Buy Theater was way back in 2012 during an Electric Zoo after party. We still have vivid flashbacks from that amazing night where he played an epic back to back set with Aly & Fila. That event was the beginning of the best trance collaborations to date. Just thinking back gives us chills!
This time around, on April 25th, John returns to NYC to play along with a nicely preselected Subculture roster of DJ’s chosen by John himself! The guys at Esscala Entertainment are sure to organize an amazing weekend for us all! Esscala is known for bringing amazing trance events to NYC and putting together a very successful Future Sound of Egypt 350 NYC event last year. These guys understand trance and understand what real trance fans are looking for in a proper trance event.
Tickets go on sale on January 21st at 12:00 PM EST! Make sure you grab your tickets early because they’re sure to fly.
Some people say that New York City is the place for some of the most commercial EDM music out there. Though this may be true, at the same time it’s also a place where anything can happen when the right people come together. When you have a great concept, the perfect venue and an unbelievable lineup, amazing things are sure to happen.
Esscala and JOC have also announced a Pre-Party at the iconic meat packing district club Cielo, where the Funktion-One sound system will be blasting pure trance bliss on Friday April 24th! We can’t wait to announce the lineup for the pre-party! All in due time!

About Best Buy Theater is a 2100-capacity venue designed by the award-winning architect David Rockwell of the Rockwell Group. The venue officially opened in September 2005, and has the capability to hold a wide array of events, including concerts, live television, web broadcasts, live recordings, award shows and event parties.
The marquee is an 85-foot long LED high definition screen which can display both live and digital video. It is one of the largest marquees on Broadway, and is directly connected to the MTV marquee. Its interactive text messaging capabilities and the ability to broadcast events live from the stage directly to the marquee (in real time) make it truly impressive, to say the least.
