Ummet Ozcan’s rising to dance music stardom

Ummet Ozcan looks back on what might be the best week of his career so far. The 19th edition of the Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) can only be described as one big highlight for the 32-year-old DJ/Producer.
Known for his recent #1 releases on Spinnin’ Records, such as “Smash!” and “Raise Your Hands”, Ummet is one of those humble artists who has build his career through the massive support from the biggest DJ’s in the industry and his fans all around the world, working very very hard to create the best tunes in Dance music.

And it looks like it just all came together last week during Amsterdam Dance Event, where he won the Award for biggest climber (68 places) in the DJ Mag Top 100, positioned at #31!
On top of that, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike invited Ummet on stage during their set at Amsterdam Music Festival to celebrate in front of 35.000 people, which shows how Ummet earned his rise to Dance’s elite.

“ADE week was like a rollercoaster and the Djmag award was an amazing icing on the cake!” – says Ummet
To top it off, Calvin Harris announced his collaboration with Ummet on their track “Overdrive”, which will feature on his forthcoming album “Motion”.
The album will be released on November 4th and features other great artists including vocalists Ellie Goulding, Gwen Stefani and hip-hop artist Big Sean among others.
To thank his fans, Ummet will do an exclusive live-stream session through Spinnin’ TV this Wednesday November 5 at 10AM PM EST, working his magic behind the decks and answering questions about his amazing week.
Ummet’s next single “Superwave” will be out on November 7, on Spinnin’ Records.
