Webster Hall really knows what’s good when it comes to booking the hottest artists to come and perform under their roof. I’ve been waiting for this day to come since I left Starscape Festival last June. Finally, Modestep will be rocking their way through the states with their face–melting sound and mind-blowing live performance on their first ever American Tour! On March 27, 2013 they will be making a stop at NYC’s very own Webster Hall, and I promise you that this will not be an event that you want to miss!

For those of you who do not know, Modestep is a live dubstep and electronic rock band that hails from London. I can honestly say they are unlike any other artist I have ever encountered in the scene. Brothers Tony and Josh Friend have individually been DJing since 2001, and they formed Modestep in 2010 with Josh’s roommate Matthew Curtis and more recently guitarist Nick Tsang. They started off performing dubstep with the moving vocals of Josh, but have since gradually started incorporating more metal and rock elements into their music. Their debut album Evolution Theory was released on February 11 of this year, including its five singles: “Feel Good”, “Sunlight”, “To The Stars”, “Show Me a Sign”, and “Another Day”. They also more recently just dropped their Inside My Head EP including three tracks: “Inside My Head”, “Prevolution”, and a remix of Ryan Keen’s song “All This Time.”

As I said, this is not an event that you want to miss! Last June I had the privilege of seeing them at Starscape for their 4th ever appearance in America, and it was one of those sets that left me speechless. Till this day that set is in my top 3, and I’ve been to countless shows since. It’s just something about their live performance that adds a completely different element to the experience.  If you are thinking about attending this event I wouldn’t sleep on getting tickets because it is bound to sell-out! You can buy tickets from the event calendar on Webster Hall’s website. (http://event.websterhall.com)

With that being said, come join me on the 27th at Webster! I’m really looking forward to rocking out with all of you beautiful people!
