The party doesn’t stop just because it’s Thanksgiving. Webster Hall Girls and Boys presents “3LAU Your Mind Tour“, along with Project 46, K Drew and The Jane Doze. If you are looking to burn off some of the Thanksgiving dinner you ate, this concert will do its justice. 3LAU, whose real name is Justin Blau, skyrocketed his fame with his mash ups such as “Jagger Bomb” with dance music and hip hop. Justin Blau has a unique story behind his music – since April, he has been donating all the proceeds from the sale of his music on Beatport to Pencils of Promise, a non-profit that builds schools in developing countries. Within two months of the release of his remix of “Back To New,” he had raised the entire $25,000 needed to build the first school. Currently, 3LAU is raising another $25,000 for Pencils of Promise by donating $1 from every ticket from his 3LAU Your Mind Tour, including his upcoming show at Webster Hall. His goal is to build three schools with his music for Pencils of Promise.

Project 46 is the up and coming progressive house djs that cracked the DJ Mag’s Top 100 list just after one year of their first release. The Canadian duo, from my hometown of Vancouver, lands in the big apple again after headlining LAVO NYC and closing at Pacha NYC after Arty. Their famous song, “You and I” with DubVision was on the Beatport Top 10 chart as #1 this past summer. This concert definitely is a perfect way to start off your Thanksgiving weekend. If you are looking for a dynamic combo of electro, ‘dubpop’, and progressive house, head down to the Webster Hall with me this Friday night!
