EDMNYC Inc. was formed by a group of NYC Electronic Dance Music enthusiasts who met while traveling to support this amazing music genre. They were united through their passion for EDM, and knew others shared this passion. They realized there was a need to create a website that offered EDM news, reviews and interviews, and other important information that would be easy to find and share, especially in such a digital and busy world.
The group formed after seeing four Sander Van Doorn shows at CIELO in NY, then the following night at GLOW/Fur in DC, and then one week later at The Guvernment in Toronto, followed by VISION in Chicago. It was clear that they all shared a common love, passion and drive for both Sander and EDM music as a whole; and knew many others in the scene wanted to share that same passion in as many ways as possible.
David Guzman, the founder of this website and project, is a visionary with a passion fueled by EDM. Aside from photography, art and design, David has always been in love with EDM. He started listening to techno at a very early age which has since developed his interest in all types of electronic music, with trance being his ultimate favorite and running through his veins.
EDMNYC.com will bring you a little bit of everything, and be a one-stop resource for the information you need to plan an event, support your local and international DJ’s and Producers, as well as meeting new people while attending some of the hottest EDM clubs and events we recommend.
