Thomas Gold is making moves. Axwell signed him to his label, Axtone, before others like Tiesto and Steve Angello could sign him. He is on a different continent every day while traveling on his “Fanfare” world tour. Showcasing his music all over the world, German born Frank Knebel, better known as the DJ Thomas Gold, is making a one-night stop in NYC, and you better not miss it. Playing at th... more.

The Electronic Dance Music Scene continues to explode in Philadelphia in 2013 thanks to our friends at Rumor and SoundGarden Hall. This weekend, Philadelphia gives us another chance to indulge ourselves in the world of trance. Things warm up at Rumor on Friday, January 11, 2013, with New York native duo Filo & Peri. New Year's Eve is one of the biggest party nights of the year. The location of one of the most intense electro house parties of the year was the Brooklyn Compound. Headlining the event was the talented Swedish duo, Dada Life, brought to us by Area Event. The masters of champagne and bananas appeared several times in New York in 2012, and I was excited to see what kind of set they’d deliver... more.

After a long NYE night, wherever you may have spent it; the night was actually just beginning for many others. While some were headed home, others were hitting their second after party. If you had any knowledge of how rare and special this occurrence at the Compound in Brooklyn on NYD was, you made sure you saved enough energy to continue the second part of your night there with Luciano. Th... more.

After an absolutely mind-blowing four-hour set by Armin Van Buuren at the awesome Pier 36, I needed to get Trashed. I headed over to Webster Hall with my friend Brian to see the incredible Tommy Trash. Brian is the biggest TT fan I've ever met, so I was happy to bring him along. Tommy Trash is, by far, one of the best producers and remixers in the game today. Almost every DJ I see plays a mi... more.

Twas the night before Chainsaw Madness when all throughout Philly…My first venture to the highly talked about Soundgarden Hall, in Philadelphia, was marked by 2012’s best tracks being spun by three major producers: R3hab, Michael Woods, and Funkagenda. All three of them were, in my opinion, better than the next. It was a night full of energetic house music, anthems, and a venue that suit... more.

New Year's Eve is the one night of every year we all look forward to because we always know the music will be good, and we'll be partying the night away with some of our best friends. Once late October or early November hits, we're all busy figuring out which party to go to. This year, I was thrilled when Revel, Atlantic City announced that Tiesto would grace the decks and ring in 2013 with ... more.

When was the last time you went to see one of your favorite DJs, expecting to hear a standard two-hour set, but were pleasantly surprised to get more than double that? I'm sure you'd agree with me that there aren't too many DJs out there who gladly give the fans more than their commissioned set time. However, the night before New Year's Eve brought out the freaks of nature to HQ Nightclub fo... more.

I walked into the ballroom at the Borgata Event Center with my vision impaired. I am, of course, referring to the “I <3 MIXX” sunglasses the Borgata handed out which I was wearing in an already dim room. My hearing, however, was sharp and tuned into the hits coming through the speakers as Nicky Romero animated the growing crowd. Dropping beloved hits like Deniz Koyu’s “Bong” and... more.

There was a different type of Swedish House Mafia at Revel's HQ Nightclub in Atlantic City over the past three nights. Things kicked off on Thursday night with one-third of SHM with Sebastian Ingrosso, followed Friday night by the second-third of SHM with Axwell, and ended with two of Ingrosso's best discoveries in the Refune family, Otto Knows and Alesso. I had the pleasure of seeing these ... more.
