Our Black Friday shopping paid off as we received the best gift of all in the form of Hardwell at Pacha NYC on Friday, November 23rd. I had a feeling it was going to be big when I saw that, at 11pm, merely one of the three lines to get in was wrapped around the block…twice. I know how talented and popular Hardwell is, but that still didn’t prepare me for the insanity that was to ensue. ... more.

Wow. Honestly and seriously, wow. What a night! I did not expect this at all... I usually don't say wow unless it was actually mind blowing, and this event was in every way. My crew and I arrived to Webster Hall at midnight, and the place was already about to explode with people. Usually, Webster Hall Boys and Girls attracts a huge amount of people on Fridays, but I could already see by the ... more.

It was Monday, when I believe I officially freaked at the realization Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano would be spending the holiday on the East Coast with not one, but two shows, with Thanksgiving sandwiched right between them. For a pair of DJs who have cemented their reputation in New York City and worldwide as sustaining high energy, and extended sets every time they play, we got just w... more.

iHeart Radio was "doing it right" when they threw a secret launch party for their new station, Evolution. Dutch extraordinaire, Afrojack, teamed up with iHeart Radio to help "rock the house" at this intimate show. Only 200 of New York City’s most loyal JACKED fans were invited to attend through an online contest. Afrojack gave the winners an exclusive one hour set at the iHeart Radio Th... more.

The party doesn't stop just because it's Thanksgiving. Webster Hall Girls and Boys presents "3LAU Your Mind Tour", along with Project 46, K Drew and The Jane Doze. If you are looking to burn off some of the Thanksgiving dinner you ate, this concert will do its justice. 3LAU, whose real name is Justin Blau, skyrocketed his fame with his mash ups such as “Jagger Bomb” with dance music and ... more.

Last week, LAVO NYC held a special birthday celebration for one of the world’s most renowned DJ's, Dirty South. On November the 15th, the man from down under, Dragan Roganović, turned 34 years old. What other way to celebrate your birthday, than at one of New York City’s most upscale nightclubs, LAVO. The club has been known to throw extravagant birthday parties for A-list celebrities, ... more.

Which artist have you seen once or twice before at a big festival and put on your must-see list for a solo show? For me, that artist is Michael Woods. I had seen Woods for the first time at Electric Zoo 2011 and fell in love with his set. Then, I was glad to see him a second time at EDCNY this year. So when HQ Nightclub at the beautiful Revel Casino in Atlantic City, NJ announced that he'd b... more.

All Photo Credit: Andrew Rauner Superstorm Sandy left the tri-state area devastated just a few short weeks ago. Recently minted #21 on the DJ Mag's 2012 rankings, ATB graced the hallowed halls of Pacha NYC on 11/8/2012 as part of the "ATB Sunset Beach DJ Session 2" tour. One of the things I love about ATB is that he is one of the few DJ's who will just hang out in the mezzanine section of the club before his set. He did that the last time at Pacha as well, and I've seen him at other parties ... more.

On October 19th, Armin van Buuren, world-renowned Dutch trance DJ and Producer won the DJ Mag Top 100 DJ Poll for the fifth time in his amazing career. It was great to see one of the hardest working individuals in the dance music scene rise to the top, despite falling behind last year to David Guetta, who came in 4th this year. Followed by Armin in the poll was Ties... more.
