Oscar G “ For The Culture” Is Available 15 February, 2019 on Nervous Records –
(New York | NY) Sunday, February 17, 2019 sees Miami House Music don Oscar G return to Brooklyn with a special President’s Day Weekend appearance inside Avant Gardner’s Kings Hall.
Some three decades into a most prolific career, one of House Music’s most authentic and consistent purveyors, Oscar G, continues staking his rightful place among the pantheon of dance titans.
Continuing to crisscross the country and the world with an instantly recognizable sound and swagger, the iconic Producer and DJ marks his Brooklyn return with a holiday weekend celebration, and with a brand new LP in tow.
Whether as one half of MURK (alongside Ralph Falcon), owner and curator of his Made In Miami imprint, or as an accomplished solo artist, Oscar G’s eclectic influence has been felt everywhere from MTV to the BBC, Wynwood to New York, and all dance floors in between. His latest long player, coming by way of Nervous Records – “For The Culture” – expands the boundaries of the House Music genre while retaining the think, layered, tribal infused percussion Oscar G is known for across its 12 expertly constructed tracks.
Just two days after “For The Culture” releases, Oscar G takes to the decks atop Avant Gardner’s massive Kings Hall. Joining him on this special Sunday event will be techno virtuoso Cristian Arango. You’re not going to want to miss this one as Oscar G, and event producers Benny Soto and Mike Nervous once again shows Brooklyn what’s what through the faith and freedom of House.
