Black Coffee returns to New York on October 26th to headline Babel Halloween- Garden of Eden. Babel is a global community, a collective consciousness comprised of individuals from diverse cultures and tribes who gather around music, arts and the pursuit of magic. Known as a community to connect, inspire, and ignite positive social change, Babel unites and transcends through the power of innovation and creativity. The Garden of Eden themed is described as “A dream journey leading us back to our Lost Paradise. This year’s celebration is dedicated to our beautiful planet, GAIA”.
It is no surprise that this South African DJ has become a staple in the house music scene. Numerous appearances at major clubs and festivals led to his increasing acclaim in the US and Europe. Brooklyn’s new venue Duggal Greenhouse will belong to Black Coffee with the support of Sis, Lauren Lane, and Wai. This DJ and producer defies convention by sidestepping Afro-house clichés and stage-managed highs in favor of restrained sophistication. Black Coffee is mostly described as home-brewed but fresh and future-focused.
The last time I saw Black Coffee was this past July at Hi Ibiza and not only was I amazed at how the venue layout was transformed ever since the Space Ibiza days but I was completely taken back by the massive and creative production as well.
Leave your fur coats at home because Black Coffee and friends will be bringing the heat. Costumes are mandatory for this event and last tier 2 tickets have already gone on sale so now the countdown has begun. Don’t miss out!
