Jason Ross doesn’t want to be a music star, he just wants to help the victims of the September 11th terrorist attacks.” At the tender age of twelve, Ross was creating music on a retro, desktop computer. He created a mix to sell to his friends but when he heard of the attacks on the World Trade Center, he decided to give the proceeds to the families of 9/11 victims. The 7th grader from Minnetonka, Minnesota was featured in multiple local and national newspapers as well as a televised news story (watch) spreading his heartfelt story. The CD, titled “Saving The World,” is a powerful reminder that music has immense power to pave the way for change. Fifteen years later, Jason Ross is touring the world, releasing music under legends Above & Beyond’s label Anjunabeats, and making himself a household name in the dance music community. 14237484_1268857893138980_2340454532955375158_n Watch Jason Ross’ news story from
