This is a great experience to those whom have less traveled to Cenote. Surprising since it is only 15 minutes from downtown Playa del Carmen. At the location there are three cenotes. Two have water and one does not. To avoid a crowd and enjoy the AMAZING experience go EARLY!
Chichen Itzá blends the magic of ceremony and human sacrifice with the legacy of one of the most progressive civilizations of its time. This city of temples was built between the 6th and the 10th century A.D deep in the Yucatán jungle. You might wan’t to wear your comfortable sneakers for this journey.
3. The Tulum ruins
The Tulum ruins are in close proximity to Playa del Carmen and Cancun. The ruins were built on a 12 meter tall cliff and is a well preserved Mayan archaeological site. Bring your two-piece,
flipflops, and some sunscreen.
