Friday night, 3/20, Stage 48 was taken over by Paris x Simo. For EDMNYC’s 4th event this past Friday, 3/20, at Stage 48, it was only natural to make it bigger than the last. With Paris x Simo as the headliners and PLURtags and Killdit as vendors up on the mezzanine area, the night was sure to be a blast. Even though the weather was snowy and flights were delayed, that did not prevent ravers from suiting up and treck through the snow.
With a few inches already accumulated on the ground and the snow still falling I thought the night wasn’t going to be super crowd, but oh was I wrong. As I arrived to the club and walked in onto the mezzanine level, I quickly noticed the vendor table set up to the left. PLURtags and Killdit it flags hung above the tables and the merchandise was set up for easy purchase. They are such great brands!
Ricky Survive was already on the decks warming up the crowd. Throwing down energetic tunes, some unreleased tracks and giving us a little back to back to session with Camarda, this was the perfect way to get the party started. The venue started to fill up despite the snow and everyone became anxious for Paris x Simo to take the stage.
This Canadian duo played such a great set that I didn’t even take my phone out to take any photos or videos. I just danced the night away. However, I did get the opportunity to interview them after they completed their set. Check out the full interview below.
