On Saturday October 20th, New York will show Dirty South and friends that it is the City of Dreams. With a monster lineup including Dirty South, Gregori Klosman, Mord Fustang, and New York’s own Tyler Sherritt, this is guaranteed to be an absolutely epic night in New York’s EDM history. On top of that, this is a Pacha NYC event. As we all already know, if there’s anyone that knows how to throw an amazing party, it’s Pacha. Let’s look at the lineup:
1. Dirty South – The Serbian-Australian DJ from Melbourne has never left me anything less than ecstatic. I’ve seen him a number of times and he progressively gets better. With a slew of hits like “Alive”, “Walking Alone”, and of course “City Of Dreams”, as well as amazing remixes like “Coming Home”, “Embrace Me”, and “Devil’s Work”, Dragan (DS) is sure to have everyone at Roseland going crazy.
2. Gregori Klosman – In my opinion, Klosman is the best export from France since Grey Goose. Last time GK was in New York, he spun one of the best sets I’ve ever heard in my life at
Cielo. He has done a ton of work with his friend Chuckie, and is an unbelievable remixer. A few notable original tracks to check out from Gregori are “Minibar”, “Fuckin’ Down”, “Mutfakta”, “The Numb3r5”, and “Bombata”. There are also two incredible remixes from Klosman… Kaskade’s “Room For Happiness” (which is the version Kaskade plays live), and a track I am in love with, his “Knights” remix of Zedd’s “Spectrum”.
3. Mord Fustang – Hailing from Estonia, this 21 year old Electro DJ is quickly making a name for himself in the EDM world. I have never seen Mord Fustang live, and it’s always exciting to see someone new. I’m sure he’ll be dropping some of his own tracks from his own “Welcome To The Future” EP, and he’s been known to throw in a couple of Deadmau5 tracks as well.
4. Tyler Sherritt – Tyler opened for Klosman at that Cielo show I discussed earlier, and killed it. Since then, he’s been headlining clubs everywhere, opening for the biggest names in the world, and really blowing up. Sherritt is signed to Paul Oakenfold’s record label, and his work has been showcased on Oakenfold’s latest compilation.
Roseland Ballroom is a great place to see a show. The acoustics are fantastic, the staff is courteous and professional, and the layout is superb. From years of experience, PachaNYC and their staff are pretty much perfectionists when it comes to making sure these events are done right. They really go the extra mile to make sure the customers (you) are as happy as possible, and really get what they’ve paid for. On Oct. 20th with Pacha, Roseland, and the absolutely outrageous lineup in store, New York will truly shine as The City Of Dreams. See you there!
