Whether you call it the new evolution of dubstep, the latest wave in Purple music or the next big thing for hip-hop, MartyParty‘s big bass bangers are taking the electronic dance music scene by storm. With a fresh musicality and narrative track structure, MartyParty‘s beats bring tasty new flavor to the dance scene, breaking up the monotony of standard electronic music.

When not on the road, or performing alongside Ooah in PANTyRAiD the South African-born performer and producer locks down in his Brooklyn- based studio to produce a diverse catalog of original heat – from downtempo compositions that slip behind the curtains of a dark and twisted audio fantasy to intense stadium anthems riddled with hooks and bass.

His exploration into the world of bass tells a story of the evolution of modern digital music. Headlining shows around the US with his signature sound and performance,

MartyParty will be touring the US from Feb 16-May 22 2012 to support the album on the Six Shots Of Jameson Tour.

Second in the series of his purple music albums, MartyParty brings us, Six Shots Of Jameson. Since the release of his Young Pimp and SubOn offerings in July 2011, MartyParty has been crafting his next full length album Six Shots Of Jameson. The 12 track drama follows the energy and emotion of the club night. Once again we see genre bending creations and we yet again head on a journey through the MartyParty genre.

The South African born, Brooklyn bred Martin Folb aka MartyParty coined the term “Purple” which has been picked up by artists to define their genre such as Joker and others. Consider it by definition – sexy, electronic rhythms featuring pulsating beats in hip hop, glitch, moombahton lending a more urban landscape to the sounds heard.
